A Stroll Through Storybook Land

My neighborhood was built in the late 50s and early 60s.  Since I've lived here, I've noticed that several of the homes have some very cute details.  After a bit of research, it seems I live in a neighborhood of Storybook ranch style houses.  They are charming and I love them!  This is a few just on my street alone.  They have very cute architectural features like dove cots, overhangs, exposed beams, diamond paned windows, and low roof lines.  Doesn't it look like Hansel and Gretel would live here?

And of course, here is my house.  Paned door glass, window boxes and Swiss Miss cutouts on shutter.  Yup, mine qualifies too!  WOOHOO!
